"I attended Catholic School from Kindergarten through 12th grade and have always said that this opportunity provided the most powerful foundation that I could not of found anywhere else. The focus on Christ and His teachings are in my heart and I am forever grateful for those who taught me this."
Xavier Pulido's aunt was a nun and his family was very involved with both school and church activities. As a parent with a child here at Christ the Redeemer, he wants to continue this strong tradition and give students same appreciation for this unique experience.
Xavier grew up in Brownsville, Texas and was very active in student council and athletics in school. He attended Sam Houston State University where he got his B.S. in criminal justice. Upon graduating he began working for Harris County Adult Probation and spent 26 years in both casework and management before retiring in 2014. He subsequently became very involved with the school and volunteered in many events and committees, especially with the
Chili Cook-Off activities. He eventually became a substitute teacher at Christ the Redeemer Catholic School and assisted with all grades. In 2016-17, he was a Room Parent for Mrs. Crenshaw's classroom.
Xavier lives in the Willowlake in Northwest Houston with his wife, Rhonda, and daughter, Bianca, who will be going into the 2nd grade. As well as being a news junkie, his favorite hobbies are cooking, gardening and listening to his favorite 80s heavy metal music.
