Originally from Southern California, Stacey completed her undergraduate studies in sociology at California State University in San Marcos, Calif. She received her master’s degree in educational counseling and guidance from National University in San Diego, Calif. Before moving to Houston, she was a guidance counselor in California for a Kindergarten - 8th-grade school district.
Stacey’s journey with CtRCS began in 2006 as a Pre-K 3 Teacher. After living a year abroad with her family in Luanda, Angola, Stacey returned in 2020 to teach second grade. Feeling satisfied with her teaching accomplishments, Stacey pursued her Texas Certificate in School Counseling in the Fall of 2021.
A Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church parishioner since 2009, Stacey has been very active in ministries such as a Vacation Bible School teacher, Core Team member with Youth Ministry and currently is a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She and her husband Briz are former presenting team couple with Worldwide Marriage Encounter, the largest pro-marriage movement in the world that promotes a weekend experience for couples who want to make their good marriage even better.
Stacey and Briz have been married since 2003. They have four children, two boys and two girls with two attending St. John XXIII, and two attending CtRCS. The family enjoys road trips especially to California and Florida for Disney adventures.
