“Christ the Redeemer has been my church home for so long; I am extremely excited to be the library manager at CtR and share my love of reading, writing and the wonderful world of literature in a faith filled environment where my family and I worship."
Sheila Magill believes the library is the heart of a school offering valuable resources that stimulate a child’s curiosity and intellect while connecting them to a world beyond themselves. As a parishioner at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church since she was a teenager, Sheila looks forward to giving back to the community through the school.
Sheila was born in Chicago, Ill. She moved to the Copperfield area in Houston in 1982. Sheila received her degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Texas A&M University in 1991. She received her teaching certificate in business administration and English from Sam Houston State University in 1994. She has taught in both Cy-Fair and Tomball independent school districts.
Sheila is very active at Christ the Redeemer. She has been involved with the Little Flowers Girls Club and Children’s Liturgy of the Word. Currently, she volunteers with Vacation Bible School and she and her husband are in Sponsor Couple Ministry for engaged couples.
She and her husband, JP, live in Tomball and were married at CtR in December 1991. They have three children – Jaclyn, Erin, and Ryan. Sheila enjoys reading, scrapbooking, photography, traveling, cheering on her Texas A&M Aggies and spending time with her family.
