This might mean leadership skills, interpersonal skills, self-realization, breaking out of their shells, and so many other wonderful developments that come with growing into a true individual in this world.”
Coming from a family of educators, Sarah Turner recognizes the nurturing culture of family values in Catholic education, both in the classroom and in school communities. At CtR School, she said she is a part of something new yet deeply rooted in tradition, forming the impact that CtRCS can have on our community and our children.
Raised in Houston, Sarah is a graduate of Duchesne Academy. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in French with a minor in Philosophy at University of Texas at Austin in 2006. She received her Masters of Education in Advanced Literacy Instruction with a Post-graduate Teacher Certification from Concordia University in Austin in 2010. Most recently, Sarah was a English and reading teacher at Corpus Christi Catholic School in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. She has certifications in several areas including English-as-a-Second-Language and Pedagogy EC-12th.
Sarah lives in Ravensway in Cypress with her husband, James. They welcomed their first child, Vincent, in December 2014. She enjoys reading, cooking, yoga, and taking walks with her family and their dog, Daphne.
