Sarah Turner

“In addition to helping students grow in academic abilities, I enjoy helping them to form who they are going to be beyond those objectives. This might mean leadership skills, interpersonal skills, self-realization, breaking out of their shells, and so many other wonderful developments that come with growing into a true individual in this world.”
 
Coming from a family of educators, Sarah Turner recognizes the nurturing culture of family values in Catholic education, both in the classroom and in school communities. At CtR School, she said she is a part of something new yet deeply rooted in tradition, forming the impact that CtRCS can have on our community and our children.
 
Raised in Houston, Sarah is a graduate of Duchesne Academy. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in French with a minor in Philosophy at University of Texas at Austin in 2006. She received her Masters of Education in Advanced Literacy Instruction with a Post-graduate Teacher Certification from Concordia University in Austin in 2010. Most recently, Sarah was a English and reading teacher at Corpus Christi Catholic School in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. She has certifications in several areas including English-as-a-Second-Language and Pedagogy EC-12th.
