Monica Guevara is in education to help teach children the foundations of learning to read and write, social skills, and to teach our Catholic faith with patience, love and kindness.
Monica was born in Colombia and has lived in Texas for most of her life. She received her bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Austin and worked in the interior design industry for 10 years. Monica decided to work in education in 2008 at Prince of Peace Catholic Community when her own children attended their preschool program. She has been at Christ the Redeemer since it opened in 2014.
Monica and her husband Edgar have lived in Houston since 1994. They have three children. Two are currently attending college and one is in high school. They also have a rescue dog named Rocky. She enjoys traveling, reading, University of Texas football games and spending time with her family.
