“I wanted to make a difference in students’ lives just like my teachers and coaches did growing up. I am excited to be able to combine my two biggest passions in my life - sports and the Catholic faith.”
Greg Toth is looking forward to being a P.E. teacher, teaching middle school math and coaching CtR’s first girls volleyball team. This jack of all trades is ready to educate students – mind, body and spirit – at CtRCS.
Greg grew up in the Klein area and attended Klein Oak High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Geology in May 2015 from Texas A&M University. He is certified to teach P.E. K-12, science and math. He has taught in Bryan and Houston including Cypress Falls High School and Westbury High School. Most recently, he taught algebra 1 and 8th grade science at Regis School of the Sacred Heart. At Regis, he also developed and implemented a new S.T.E.M. class, which will serve him well in implementing S.T.R.E.A.M. at CtRCS. He is a parishioner at St. Cecilia Catholic Church where he is involved with LifeTeen and That Man Is You!
Greg married his wife, Shannon, who is a medical student at Baylor College of Medicine, in 2016. They had their first child, Reina Teresa, in 2018. Greg enjoys all things sports-related, hiking, camping, reading, family time, game night with friends and learning everything he can about home improvement projects.
