“I want to be able to inspire children in the arts and allow them to have a creative outlet for their thoughts, feelings and passions. I love watching students get excited, creative and experimental in the arts and finding new ways to express themselves.”
Gabrielle Bergeron is excited that CtRCS will be her first teaching experience. She loves knowing that she will be in a Catholic environment and can incorporate her faith into her teaching. She is also very excited to have her own art room in the brand new Christ the Redeemer Activity Center.
Gabrielle was born in Thibodaux, La. but moved to Katy, Texas when she was 5 years old. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May 2018. In college, she received the Avec Souci Scholarship and was the vice president of the Louisiana Arts Education Association at the University of Louisiana. Along with teaching at CtRCS, she is currently an instructor at Pinot’s Palette, a step-by-step painting experience for families and friends. A parishioner at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Katy, Gabrielle is looking forward to getting more involved at CtR.
Gabrielle currently lives in Fairfield with her golden doodle puppy named Roux. Her family lives in Katy and she has three sisters. In her free time, she loves to paint and draw (or be creative in some way), visit with family and friends, listen to live music, and take Roux for walks.
