Elsa is from Ozona, Texas and moved to Houston in 1985. She has more than 25 years’ experience working in education as a classroom teacher and school administrator. She is a fully-certified elementary and middle school bilingual/ESL teacher and worked most of her career in Spring Branch ISD. She and her husband lived Colombia for nine years, where Elsa taught. Most recently she has been working as a regular substitute at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.
She currently lives with her husband and son in Copperfield. She loves baseball and played softball for many years. She enjoys following the Houston Astros, reading and making puzzles.
