Cathy Wogan is a lifelong Catholic and enjoys living and sharing her faith with colleagues, students and parents. She is excited to join the CtRCS team as the Learning Center Coordinator.
She graduated from The University of Houston with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Fine Arts in 1986. She began her teaching career in Spring Branch Independent School District and had different roles as a classroom teacher, dyslexia specialist, art teacher and Reading Recovery teacher. Her experience includes working with students from Kindergarten through 8th grade and her areas of expertise lay in dyslexia support, reading recovery, general intervention support for at-risk learners, and as an instructional specialist assisting students in the general classroom setting. She was also trained at the Neuhaus Education Center in Basic Language Skills, along with various other training.
Most recently, Cathy was an art teacher and Learning Support Teacher at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School in The Woodlands since 2013.
