“My favorite things about being a school nurse are helping children when they're not feeling well, and having relationships with all the children (and staff!) I work with. I love when I see them in the hallways, or even out in the community, and we can share a smile or laugh together. It creates a trusting bond where the school feels more like a family environment.”
Candice Hall calls Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church home in many ways. She appreciates working in a faith-filled environment, where she can help children by saying "I'll pray for you!" or talking about God with them.
Candice grew up in Wharton, Texas, a small town south of Houston. She has a degree from Blinn College in Bryan and completed the Vocational Nursing Program in 2006. Most recently she worked at Texas Children’s Pediatric Associates in Cypress, Texas.
Candice has been in Houston since 2007 and met her husband, Gregory in 2009. They were married by Rev. Sean Horrigan in 2010 at Christ the Redeemer (CtR). Candice and Gregory are involved at CtR in many activities including Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Men's and Women's ACTS Retreats, Engaged Encounter marriage preparation weekends and Vacation Bible School.
Candice and Gregory live in Tomball. They have a daughter, Caroline, who is at CtRCS. They enjoy family movie night, Caroline's sports and going out to dinner. Candice and Gregory love visiting the hill country, especially Fredericksburg, Texas.
