"Our children really are the purity and joy of this world and I wanted a hand in caring for them and nurturing them."
Amanda joined the CtRCS faculty in 2022 as a 2nd-grade teacher. She and her family have been Christ the Redeemer parishioners since 2015 and longtime Houstonians. After attending CtR for several years, Amanda said, she felt called to serve in a larger capacity.
"I truly feel like God called me to this position," she said. "We have been parishioners with the church for several years, and it is a place I feel very welcomed and at peace."
Amanda attended Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School as a child and received a bachelor's in Fine Arts and Studio Drawing from Texas State University. She earned a teaching certificate through Texas Teachers of Tomorrow.
