Alexa Delgado was raised in San Antonio, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University in 2015. She also holds Texas Educator Certificates in EC-6 Generalist and English-as-a-Second-Language. Alexa received her Masters in Education and Reading Specialist Certificate through the GRACE program at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. During the program, Alexa taught 1st and 2nd grade at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School.
She and her husband, Dylan, were married in the summer of 2017, and they live in Houston. Dylan is a middle school social studies teacher at St. Helen Catholic School in Pearland. Alexa enjoys reading, playing volleyball, cheering on her San Antonio Spurs and Texas A&M Aggies, and spending time with family and friends.
