Christ the Redeemer Catholic School is the most recent school in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and the third Catholic grade school in the United States to earn the National Certificate for STEM Excellence (NCSE) - Campus Certification from the National Institute for STEM Education (NISE).

Earlier this year, 2nd Class Boy Scout and fellow CtR Crusader, Al Davis, achieved the Ad Altare Dei award which is one of two religious emblems for scouts ages 13-15.
CtRCS is starting a Vocation Chalice Program this year! Led by our new Religion Teacher, Mark Dolce, this program will help facilitate a culture of vocations at CtRCS.
Boy Scout Troop #573 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church helped CtRCS and the Genesis Early Childhood Program by installing new, permanent trash cans on the playground this year.
In the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston Catholic education fundraiser of the year, the 11th Annual Steps for Students 2016 was a hit! We had more than 600 participants and 300 donors!
