Students in grades 3rd through 7th created presentations exploring the traditions, cultures, food, agriculture, history, economy, government, religion, saints, the arts, and other interesting facts about a country. Students in 3rd grade selected Spanish-speaking countries to present. Since grades 5th to 7th choose a language to learn, they selected countries that speak the language that they are learning.
Rosetta Stone has been giving the students the tools to learn a new language and embrace new cultures. In this photo, student Isabella Ortiz, in 7th grade, presented the country Canada to the Pre-K 4 years old. Isabella is learning French this year, and chose Canada to explore. The Pre-K 4 class not only enjoyed a trip exploring the beautiful country of Canada, but also learned how to introduce themselves in French (Bonjou, je m'appelle, Isabella!). Great job, Isabella Ortiz!
