Christ the Redeemer Catholic School’s theme this year is A.R.K.: Acts of Random Kindness. The 1st grade students were so excited about the theme that they started the year off by reading and discussing Noah's Ark and God's promise.
The students then moved to Christ the Redeemer new S.T.R.E.A.M. Lab in the new Redeemer Activity Center. The
S.T.R.E.A.M. Lab allowed students to design, build and test their own ark! The new S.T.R.E.A.M. Lab gave plenty of room for the students to spread out as they worked in groups building arks. Once each ark was built, the students tested them to see if they would float and as well as hold animals above water.
"Owen loved this experiment,” said parent Rosanna Focke, “He told me all about it and then came home and showed me how he made a boat out of foil."
The new CtR Catholic School S.T.R.E.A.M. Lab in the Redeemer Activity Center is a wonderful blessing to the students at they can dream big while integrating science, technology, religion, engineering, art and math. For details about the new Redeemer Activity Center, visit
