We are pleased to share our Christ the Redeemer Catholic School 2024-29 Strategic Plan. It’s a roadmap, if you will, for our school's continued growth and excellence, deeply rooted in our Catholic faith and values. This plan reflects months of discernment, collaboration, and feedback from a wide array of stakeholders in our community.
This is the third strategic plan in our school’s history, each covering a five-year period. In September 2023 we partnered with the Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI) to guide us in gathering data, reflecting on our strengths, and identifying areas for growth.
This journey included a comprehensive community survey, focus groups, and small group work sessions. More than 400 respondents – including parents, faculty/staff, students, Advisory School Council members, and parish ministry leaders – participated in the survey, providing critical insights. Additionally, 25 others contributed through focus groups, and our envisioning and core teams worked diligently across five small group sessions to shape this plan. In short, a lot of work went into it, and we are grateful for the input from so many.
What we have created is not just a plan but a living document – a strategic plan that will adapt and evolve. We are committed to providing regular updates on its implementation, ensuring that the community is informed and actively engaged in our ongoing journey.
This plan reaffirms our commitment to academic excellence, Catholic identity, and operational vitality. Those have been, are, and always will be our priorities at CtR Catholic School. We celebrate the areas where we excel, such as fostering a strong Catholic identity and maintaining high academic standards, while acknowledging areas where we can grow, such as enhancing our curriculum offerings and improving student support systems.
The plan begins by clearly presenting our vision, purpose, and beliefs. It is followed by the key standards we focus on: Mission and Catholic Identity, Governance and Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Operational Vitality. We have identified priorities and goals for each standard that will guide our efforts over the next few years.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the members of our envisioning and core teams whose invaluable input and unwavering dedication have been instrumental in shaping this latest strategic vision for Christ the Redeemer Catholic School's future. Together, we eagerly look forward to building upon the firm foundation that has established our 2024 National Blue Ribbon School as a beacon of faith and academic excellence for years to come.
In Christ's Love,
Rev. Sean P. Horrigan, Pastor Mr. Daniel Courtney, Principal
