CtRCS Begins Super Kids-Super Sharing

Our 5th grade students are starting their service project called “Super Kids-Super Sharing” in honor of the Super Bowl LI coming to Houston. Our school is helping to make a difference in the lives of local children this Super Bowl season. We’ve teamed up with the National Football League (NFL), the Houston Texans, the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee, Verizon and the Houston Texans YMCA for a community project.

We are asking that you please bring in gently used or new:

Books
Sports Equipment
School Supplies
Games
Used Cell Phones

There will be three boxes around our school, one at the front office and two others outside the 5th grade classrooms upstairs. The donated items will be shared with local schools and organizations that work with children in need.

Please bring in any donations between now and Jan. 17! The items will be donated to the Houston Texans YMCA by some of our own CtR Crusaders on Thursday, Jan. 19. Catch the Super Bowl spirit and join us as we help children in our local community!
