Earlier this year, 2nd Class Boy Scout and fellow CtR Crusader, Al Davis, achieved the Ad Altare Dei award which is one of two religious emblems for scouts ages 13-15.
Davis is in the 7th grade and is a scout with Troop 573 chartered by the Knights of Columbus - Council 8771 here at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.
The Ad Altare Dei emblem involves several months of classwork with intensive study touching on all seven sacraments of the Catholic faith, participation in Sunday worship, completion of a community service project and passing a Board of Review.
Congratulations on your achievement!
